Trail circuit 41 green - Col de Saix

Small green loop that can reach Châtel, neither too long nor too difficult for beginners in trail.

From La Chapelle d'Abondance, take the La Panthiaz gondola to reach the summit of the gondola, the starting point of the route. In case of closure of the gondola, take the Rys road that leads to the top of the gondola (about 4km). You will start at the exit of the gondola of La Panthiaz by a warm-up on road on 1km. The forest path takes you to the culmination point of the Saix pass. You will then continue on a relatively flat trail towards Châtel through the chalets of Barbossine, then the place called "Tenne". You are almost there in the village of Châtel.
