One kilometre from the village centre, the trail around the lake is equipped for walking, cycling and pushchairs,
etc. There is also a playground for children,

The actual lake has been created in 1974, with since, every year, extra works to improve its look. At the beginning of July 2000, a water spring is in operation. The fitting is made with concrete stabilized at the bed of the lake, at roughly 7 meters deep.
Some spots are installed around the force back pipe, allowing people to admire the equipment.
This water spring, real giant fountain, rise up to 40 meters. Located at the altitude of 1300m, it becomes the highest water spring of France...

The UNO has decreed 2003 as the “Fresh water year”, and that in this background that the Lake Vonnes and Lake Morgins (Switzerland) have been twinned.
A themed footpath is linking the two lakes, signposted with texts about water and environment.
