It is located deep inside a preserved glacial valley and offer a peaceful place for walking and an easy-access fishing spot. The recreational lake was created in 1978 on the site of the ancient glacial lake. It is 4m deep and covers four hectares. Its neighbouring Cubourré Lake has changed into a peat bog.
