In a family resort (winter & summer), 11km from Evian. 37m² flat, 4/6 people with big balcony and view over the lake Léman. Parents’ room (with baby bed), closed ‘mountain area’ with 2 bunk beds, living room with double sofa-bed, kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, private parking.
300m from the gondola and in the heart of the resort, you will find the residence ‘Jonquilles’ (one bend from the exit signpost).
But it’s that bend that changes everything: the gondola and main activities are accessible by foot, but you will still feel right amongst the nature, with the lake and spruces as your view.
Calm is the main characteristic of this apartment. Very low traffic, and no nighttime bars close by, as you would have in the heart of the resort.
It’s with your hiking boots on that you will leave the apartment for kms of paths, towards the Blanchard summit on the East, close to the Swiss border, to discover overlooking views of the lake Léman on the Mémises crest, or even further West towards the Mont César and Benand, and further on, the Bernex valley.
As opposed to most 2 room apartments with a ‘mountain area’ which the size and layout will bother those sleeping as soon as you want to move around, you will be able to enjoy the 37m² astutely organized. The ‘mountain area’ bunk beds are not in the main entrance corridor (one which you must use to access the bathroom) but in a built-in recess which could be considered as an extra room. Parents and children can live at their own rhythm. If necessary, a sofa-bed in the living room can be used for 2 extra people.
The North-West orientation of the big window (in the living room and in the parents’ room) will allow you to enjoy the lake, nature, and beautiful sunsets.
